The Abbey Orlando is bringing a little extra Christmas spirit to Thornton Park this season with the opening of a holiday-themed pop-up bar called The Reindeer Room (Facebook), located at 808 E. Washington Street [GMap] in the former home of Dexter’s and Jack and Honey’s.
The Reindeer Room will open on Thursday, November 21, and has been entirely decorated for Christmas. It will feature nonstop Christmas music, holiday movies, and themed cocktails, including festive mules and martinis, snow cone slushes, and specialty drinks like the Snickerdoodle White Russian, Jingle Bell Smash, and Holly Jolly Hot Toddy.
Food is available to order from neighboring Washington Street restaurants The Classic and Cavo’s Bar and Kitchen, and food truck events are also planned for the near future.
The Reindeer Room will initially be open at 4 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays, and at noon on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as on Thanksgiving Eve; extended hours will be announced after Thanksgiving. The space is also available to rent for holiday parties, happy hours, lunches and other festive events.
