Paper Goat Post (Facebook | Website) first opened its retail business in Ivanhoe Village roughly 10 years ago. In 2022 the sister-run shop made a move to a larger space at 4875 New Broad Street [GMap] in Baldwin Park.
The shop sells everything from cute dresses and adorable stationery and one-of-a-kind gifts to custom balloon archways and party decor.
According to an announcement made to their shoppers last week, Paper Goat Post was approached by another business to give up their lease and they decided to accept the offer, saying “Given the direction retail has gone in the past year we knew this was the right thing to do for ourselves and our families.”
The shop will continue to operate through the end of the year before transitioning to a somewhat of a mail-order model, with more information expected in the coming weeks.

We made our dream of being business owners a reality in our very first space on Ivanhoe Row, we shared a part in of so many of your stories & celebrations, and we were recognized and awarded.
