This Friday, December 6, at 5 p.m., the City of Orlando will be inviting visitors and residents to celebrate the annual lighting of the official city tree at Lake Eola Park’s Washington Plaza.
The mayor and the city commissioners will join the community to kick off the holiday season with pomp and circumstance, food trucks, a holiday shopping market, and a Florida “snowfall” experience.
The tree will be lit at 8 p.m. when it’s nice and dark out.
Join in the fun by the amphitheater on the western side of the lake.
The City will also be hosting a drone show on Saturday, December 21 from 6:30-6:45 p.m. at Lake Eola Park featuring a display of synchronized drones flying in formation to create holiday-themed designs over the lake.
