Mid-Drive Dive opened in the former home of Graffiti Junktion in College Park back in February of this year.
The mid-century-inspired concept was a collaborative effort between longtime College Park residents and businessmen, Jacob Zepf of Freehand Goods (Instagram | Website) and Matt Hinckley of Hinckley’s Fancy Meats (Instagram | Website). The menu featured American classics like handhelds and mains alongside simple and approachable cocktails.
A grand opening was held on March 1.
The owners took to social media last week to share that the restaurant would be closing during the holidays and that an unnamed operator would be taking it over for a new concept. Those social accounts have since been deleted.
We’ve reached out for more information but have yet to hear back on what they’re cooking up.
