South Florida’s Wagyu beef-slinging restaurant/retail darlings Palm Beach Meats (Instagram | Website) is now open in the former home of Hungry Pants at 3421 S. Orange Avenue [GMap].
The shop is a hybrid retailer/wholesaler/restaurant with dine-in and to-go options to complement its main gig as a marketing and distribution hub for all things Kobe beef.
The dine-in menu is fast-casual and offers a selection of burgers, sandwiches, and hot dogs, all made with Wagyu beef in some way. Even the PBJ, which has beef tallow in it. They also have a robust menu of non-alcoholic drinks available, that you can add booze too if you want.
Hungry Pants closed in December 2023.
