Back in August the Orlando Housing Authority issued an RFQ for a developer to partner with on the full redevelopment of a group of properties owned and operated by OHA. One of those properties includes the vacant Hampton Park parcel on the NW corner of Bumby and Robinson, across from Stasio’s Italian Deli in The Milk District.

That RFQ was awarded to luxury high-rise developers Related Group and Property Markets Group, who are finishing up The Society in downtown Orlando.

We’ve reached out to the Orlando Housing Authority, but they hadn’t responded at the time of this post – so surprising.

What would you like to see at that corner? More retail? Mixed-use apartments and a fancy restaurant? A lazy river with a tiki hut in the middle and a stage for live music?
