After 12 years of business, Ivanhoe Village staple The Hammered Lamb (Facebook Instagram) will close on Saturday, January 25.

The Hammered Lamb, named in part after its owner Jason Lambert, will host a 12th Anniversary and Goodbye Party on the 25th with a final Hammered Brunch service from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. followed by a Sunset Happy Hour and goodbye party.

The Lamb hosted a special fundraiser back in September following months of road closures in front of the business, which the owner says was a major contributor to poor business traffic in the neighborhood. They even had adjusted their hours to close on Tuesdays, after previously being open every day of the week, to help save on labor on their slowest day.

Through the years, The Lamb has served as a community hall of sorts, raising thousands of dollars for community beautification efforts, political fundraisers, and more. Their annual events like the Adult Easter Egg Hunt and their annual Christmas tree installation had become can’t-miss events in the Ivanhoe Village social calendar and they will be sorely missed.

See their farewell message that was posted on Instagram below.
