The seventh annual Ramen Rumble was held this past Monday, January 27, at Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs, and out of the five participating restaurants, a food truck team walked out triumphant.

Each year, chefs face off in this friendly competition, benefiting Give Kids The World. At least five chefs prepare a special batch of ramen and serve them to attendees, who then vote for their favorite.

This year’s event had Wa Ramen, Red Panda Noodle, The Monroe, Patina Restaurant Group, and Norigami fighting for the championship belt. After two sold-out seatings at the Disney Spring restaurant, Red Panda Noodle (Instagram) took the win with their tasty Spicy Chicken Katsu Ramen bowl.

The event succeeded in winning $15,291.

Note: Full disclosure, I was the emcee.
