The United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) descended on Orlando late last month to face Costa Rica in a chilly finale to their January camp. With temperatures dipping to a brisk 34 degrees at kickoff and a light mist lingering over the pitch, the stage was set for an unpredictable evening.

This match brought a refreshing twist, showcasing a roster filled with lesser-seen faces. All from The MLS (USA’s domestic league). Coach Pochettino described it as an invaluable chance to assess the depth and talent within the USMNT player pool, beyond the usual stars.

Despite the cold, the USMNT brought the heat, finding the back of the net three times over 90 minutes to secure a commanding victory over the Ticos. Yet, the spotlight belonged to goalkeeper Zack Steffen, whose series of stunning saves earned him the title of Man of the Match. His heroics in goal were pivotal, shaping the outcome of the game and solidifying the win for the U.S.

For this match, Fabio Galizia took photos with his film camera first, developing the photos old-school before scanning them for us to share on Bungalower.com.
