The Orlando Museum of Art (Website) is hosting its next Access for All event on Thursday, February 20, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
The event schedule will include:
- 10:30 a.m.-Noon – Immersive Sound Bath by Imane El Ghazouani and Tuesday Villane.
- Noon-1 p.m. – Art Sandwiched In: An Introduction to Art Conservation: Stephanie Conforti, a local paintings conservator with over 30 years of experience in the field, will discuss the role of fine art conservation and its importance in collection management.
- 2:30-3:30 p.m. – Gallery Talk: Learn more about the Relationships: A Love of Collecting exhibition.
- 3:30-4:30 p.m. – Gallery Talk (Spanish)
- 5-7 p.m. – Sketching in the Galleries: Drawing and sketching supplies will be available for artists of all ages to use.
- 5-6 p.m. – Immersive Sound Bath by Imane El Ghazouani and Tuesday Villane.
- 6-8 p.m. – La CinOMAthèque: View Blood of a Poet by Jean Cocteau.
- 7-8 p.m. – Docent-Led Tour: Follow along with a docent highlighting various works from gallery to gallery.
Guests are also encouraged to view the museum’s Relationships: A Love for Collecting, Edouard Prulhière: The Inverted Sound of Painting, and Material World: Transcending the Object in Collage and Assemblage Works from the Permanent Collection exhibitions.
