Milk District-based watering hole The Nook on Robinson (Facebook | Instagram) will be celebrating seven years of business this Saturday, March 1, with a special “The Nook Turns 7” birthday party.
The popular bar/community hub is co-owned by Mary McGinn and Matt Duke and specializes in craft beer and creative public programming like a communal “Scream at the Sky” event or its ongoing Movie Trash series that screens less-than-great movies like Mariah Carey’s “Glitter,” “Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers,” and anything with Nicholas Cage.
The Nook Turns 7 Birthday Bash will feature food by Red Panda Noodle, a photo booth, a complimentary toast at 10 p.m., limited edition Nook tote bags for sale, free cake, and free goodie bags to the first 50 people through the door. Click HERE to follow their Facebook event page for updates.
The Nook is located at 2432 E. Robinson Street [GMap].
