Orange County’s Environmental Protection Division is hosting its first-ever clothing swap and repair cafe on March 22.

Event goers can learn some basic sewing techniques to extend the life of their clothes like sewing on a button, sewing seams, etc. They’ll also be hosting a clothing swap for people looking to dump some still wearable/fashionable clothes with something fresh and new. For free.

They’ll be hosting the event at the Mars Street Senior Recreation facility at 99 E. Marks Street [GMap], and the fun starts at noon and runs till 4 p.m. Click HERE to reserve a spot or to see the individual workshop times.

The world’s going to end, you should know how to sew a button, Karen.
