Dr. Phillips Charities recently partnered with Orlando’s Oxenfree Film & Motion (Website) to tell the life story and continued impact of Dr. Philip Phillips, a 19th century citrus industry pioneer whose philanthropic efforts and real estate projects continue to shape Central Florida.
The film premiered to over 2,000 people at Doc’s 150th Birthday Celebration at the Dr. Phillips Center, giving the audience an immersive look into who he was, what Dr. Phillips Charities does, and how the man’s legacy will continue to shape Central Florida for generations to come.
Through archival footage projected onto Orlando landmarks, dynamic historical montages, and interviews with leaders in the Central Florida community, Oxenfree designed a film that explores what legacy truly means: connecting the past, present, and future to tell a holistic story of Doc’s lasting influence.
