An adult swan was spotted honking its way along the Florida 408 East-West Expressway near the Bumby ramp early Friday morning last week.

Orlando Police officers were sent on a semi-tame swan chase at around 7:45 a.m. to try to capture the errant bird before daily commuting traffic was expected to pick up. In order to catch the swan safely, officers were forced to shut down all eastbound lanes in the area.

Once it had been captured, the swan was brought to Lake Eola House for further evaluation. Upon first inspection, it was revealed that the swan was not from Lake Eola.

Russian spy drone? We shall see.
