Orlando City delivered a super-butch on-the-attack performance in their weekend match against D.C. United, where they cruised to a 4–1 victory.

The Lions opened the scoring and kept the pressure on throughout the game. A standout moment came in the 56th minute when Marco Pašalić struck a well-placed goal that set the tone for Orlando City’s relentless offensive display, giving Robin Jansson a well-deserved break. The team’s fluid passing and clinical finishing left D.C. United chasing dust, with their lone goal proving to be little more than a consolation.

Javier Otero, a fresh face in the Orlando City goalkeeper post, should have won Player of the Match with an extra-strong showing. He was focused and made the Lions look tough as hell.

Overall, the match showcased Orlando City’s new potent mix of teamwork, creative build-up play, and decisive finishing. Hopefully giving a strong message about their intent to slay this season. Meanwhile, D.C. United will be looking to regroup and address defensive lapses after a day where they struggled to contain a high-tempo attack. Benteke better not be as handsy next time though, I thought Jansson was going to make him into a horseshoe.
