The Orange County Clerk of Courts will launch Operation Green Light on April 9 to help thousands of people with their overdue traffic tickets.

Operation Green Light will help “customers” withoutstanding traffic tickets and criminal fines get onto a payment plan, as a first step to getting their driving privileges reinstated. Some customers may even be eligible to have certain collection fees waived if certain requirements are met.

A down payment will be required to qualify for a payment plan. No appointment or prior registration is needed.

Orange County Courthouse will be operating on extended hours on April 9 to help serve as many people as possible, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Clerk’s Office Compliance Division in Suite 410 is available to assist residents with suspended licenses at any other time of the year.
