Guang Ming Temple (Website) will be celebrating Buddha’s Birthday on Sunday, May 4, and you’re invited.
The celebration begins at 10 a.m. in the temple’s grand Main Shrine with a Ceremony of Blessings, where visitors can take part in uplifting rituals accompanied by traditional music and regalia.
At 11:30 a.m., the Food and Arts Festival will begin, featuring international cuisine and cultural performances.
The free event is one of the temple’s largest events of the year and draws visitors from around the state.
