“With profound sadness, we must announce the closure of
1UP Orlando and HighT Orlando.”
Bar None Creations (Website), the operator of several popular downtown venues, shared earlier today that it would be closing two of its venues: 1Up Orlando and High T Orlando.
You can read their full statement below, though they stated the reasons they were closing were due to the, “… overwhelming financial strain of operating in downtown Orlando with the restrictions placed on nightlife including the fees from After Midnight Alcohol Sales Permit, coupled with the decline of Church Street, has left us with no choice but to say goodbye.”
1Up opened in May 2022, in the former home of Schumann’s Jager Haus at 25 W Church Street [GMap]. High T opened in 2023 just next door/upstairs.
