The Florida Everblades clinched the ECHL South Division title by defeating the Orlando Solar Bears 3–1 in Game 5 of the South Division Finals on Saturday, May 10, at the Kia Center in Orlando. This victory secured a 4–1 series win and marked the Everblades’ 14th consecutive postseason series triumph, keeping them on track for a potential fourth straight Kelly Cup championship
Orlando took an early lead with Anthony Bardaro’s goal at 7:51 in the first period. However, Florida’s Colton Hargrove equalized early in the second period, assisted by Cole Moberg and Logan Lambdin. The game remained tied until late in the third period when Moberg scored a power-play goal with 1:48 remaining, following a tripping penalty on Orlando’s Alex Frye. Captain Oliver Chau sealed the win with an empty-net goal just before the final buzzer.
With this win, the Everblades advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
