The Jacksonville Jaguars have postponed their decision regarding a temporary stadium to host home games during the 2027 and 2028 NFL seasons while TIAA Bank Field undergoes major renovations. The decision, originally expected in May 2025, has now been pushed to October 2025.

Several cities are under consideration, including:

  • Orlando (Camping World Stadium)
  • Gainesville (Ben Hill Griffin Stadium at the University of Florida)
  • Tampa (Raymond James Stadium)

Jaguars officials say they needed more time to gather more logistical, financial, and fan engagement data. Team leadership emphasized their commitment to keeping the team in Florida during the temporary relocation.

Orange County commissioners recently approved spending Tourist Development Tax dollars to try to seduce the Jaguars to Orlando. More on that HERE.
