The Orlando Museum of Art just landed its largest donation ever—$540,000—from the Council of 101, the volunteer powerhouse behind the beloved Festival of Trees and Art in Bloom. This year’s gift tops last year’s record-breaking $510K, bringing the Council’s lifetime contributions to over $15 million.
The donation will support OMA’s exhibitions, educational programs, and outreach efforts across Central Florida.
“We are deeply grateful to the Council of 101 for their many years of support and unwavering dedication to OMA,” said Cathryn Mattson, CEO of OMA. “This record-breaking donation will allow us to deepen our educational outreach and bring even more dynamic exhibitions to our audiences. We very much appreciate their commitment to increasing support of the arts in Orlando.”
