Shaka Donuts is officially back and open in a fresh new space at the corner of Primrose and Curry Ford in the Hourglass District.

Originally launched in 2020 by Orlando natives Brandon and Brittany Cipollone, the family-owned shop quickly built a loyal following with its warm atmosphere, inventive donuts, and laid-back vibe.
When their Michigan Avenue location closed about three months ago, the plan was to reopen quickly nearby. But as is often the case, it took a little longer than expected. Brandon’s easygoing nature made it clear: no rush, just good things coming.
As of July 1, those good things are here. The new shop still serves up all the Shaka favorites—creative and classic donuts, scoops of ice cream, Hawaiian shave ice, and even root beer on tap. A vibrant mural by Australian artist Pepa Llama brings a splash of color to the space. It’s a vibe.

Shaka also hosts playful themed days throughout the year, like Star Wars Day on May the 4th and an upcoming Harry Potter celebration on July 31. Costumes and wands are encouraged.
With its come-as-you-are spirit and deep Orlando roots, the new Shaka Donuts isn’t just a reopening, it’s a return to something that makes you smile.
