If you’re heading to downtown for Orlando’s 48th Annual Fireworks at the Fountain at Lake Eola Park, here’s everything you need to dodge construction, navigate road closures, and get there without exploding before the fireworks do.

Key Road Closures (Starting at 2 p.m. on July 4):

  • Rosalind Ave from South St to Robinson St
  • Eola Dr from Robinson St to E Washington St
  • Robinson St from Rosalind Ave to Summerlin Ave
  • Central Blvd from Rosalind Ave to Eola Dr

ALSO FYI: That headache-inducing Summerlin construction will take a break July 3–6. All lanes reopen near the park to ease traffic, but work resumes July 7.

Parking + Transit Tips:
SunRail is FREE on July 4 — service runs 1 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.

  • Church Street Station: Last northbound at 10:38 p.m., southbound at 10:51 p.m.
  • LYNX Central Station: Northbound at 10:41 p.m., southbound at 10:48 p.m.
    More info: sunrail.com

LYMMO Circulator – Free downtown shuttle, great if you park near the Library Garage or on the outskirts.
Ride-shares + carpools highly encouraged (just dodge the road closures).
Downtown garages and lots will fill up quick — plan ahead and maybe scope out backup options.

Weather Reminder:
It’s Florida. Pack sunscreen, a poncho, or both. The city will announce delays or updates on social media and over the park speakers if storms roll in.

Pro tip: Only coming for the fireworks? Aim to arrive by 7 p.m. to avoid gridlock and grab a decent spot before the 9:10 p.m. show.
