12th Annual Paws for Peace Walk

$30Tails are wagging in anticipation of the 12th Annual Paws for Peace Walk! Join us Saturday, April 29th for a fun, leisurely stroll for pets, their families, and friends to raise awareness about domestic abuse and its effect on pets and their owners. We’ll have a silent auction, mystery doggie bags, activities, and more!
The walk benefits the Paws for Peace Kennel at Harbor House of Central Florida. We walk because:
*48% of survivors delay leaving an abusive situation for fear their pets will be harmed.
*88% of pets living in domestic violence homes are abused.
*100% of the proceeds of the walk funds will service survivors and their pets staying at Harbor House.;
*Regular walks are important for your dog to maintain a healthy, balanced lifestyle – opportunities for exercise, exploration and socialization for people as well as pets.
