McRae Art Studios’ popular fundraiser, 8×10 INCHES OF ART, is back this year, with a twist. The sale has been extended to 24 hours, from Aug. 21 to 22, and purchases will be handled online. Proceeds from the annual event, which offers more than 100 original art works starting at $100, help support the 22-member studio group, Orlando’s oldest artist collective. www.mcraeartstudios.com
WHAT
8×10 INCHES OF ART, an online art sale giving the Central Florida community a chance to take home affordable original art from McRae Art Studios. More than 100 artworks no bigger than 10 inches will be displayed for 24 hours. Art works include paintings, drawings, mixed media, photographs and ceramics. McRae will use proceeds from the sale for enhancements in its studio complex. Admission to 8×10 INCHES OF ART is free and open to the public.

ABOUT MCRAE ART STUDIOS
McRae Art Studios, Central Florida’s largest artist collective, was founded in 1987 in Orlando to provide affordable studio space for fine artists. After three moves and an 18-year stay in Winter Park, the 22-member group returned to Orlando in 2017. McRae artists regularly win top awards and are featured in group exhibitions at Orlando City Hall, Crealde School of Art, and museums and galleries in Florida and beyond. Artists work in painting, drawing, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics and photography.
