Meet the artists who’s works encompase a trinity of contemporary art. Lydia Bladen, Calvin Dunkle and Mark Goffee are Central Florida artists who are in the Gallery 251 spotlight on the first Friday of May.
Lydia Bladen is an etherial artist influenced by painters such as Aubrey Beardsley, Patrick Nagel, Alphonse Mucha, and the
Pre-Raphaelites. She specializes in animals, fantastical creatures, and angels.
Calvin Dunkle is a skilled artist whos works of Fantasy/Science Fiction tell stories of sword and sorcery and well-muscled male and female barbarians engaged in battle.
Mark Goffee’s photographs of life and nature are exciting and colorful. He finds beauty in a passing glance or unsuspecting wild bird using both tight shots and vast formatting.
At 8pm, house band, Milk Carton Superstars will play their original songs. It’s very possible that a surprise band will play two songs at 9.
