Artist’s Talk w/Jason Lazarus

Join us in welcoming Jason Lazarus for his Artist’s Talk presented by the Rollins College Department of Art and History.
Jason Lazarus produces projects that engage with “researching and imaging private, marginalized, and nascent public histories in order to recast their relationship to the public through discourse, display, and exchange by employing authored and found images, site-specific installations, and curating publicly-sourced stable and live archives.”
Jason Lazarus is an Assistant Professor of Art and Art History at the University of South Florida and an MFA Low Residency Program Mentor with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Learn more about this Thomas P. Johnson Distinguished Visiting Scholar’s work at jasonlazarus.com.
This event, rescheduled from October 30, is part of upcoming programming for Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Week at Rollins College which begins January 21.
The Cornell Fine Arts Museum, located on the Rollins College campus, has free admission and is open year-round with works also on view nearby at The Alfond Inn. No reservations or tickets are required for this event. Free parking available on campus and in the SunTrust Garage on Lyman Avenue with a Museum-validated parking stub. The museum is closed on Mondays, during major holidays and for installation of new exhibitions. The Museum will be closed December 13 through January 16 for installation of upcoming exhibitions.
