Call for Artists
Exhibition Title: “Celebrating Artistic Expression”
PROPOSAL DEADLINE: October 1, 2016
Subject Matter: “Celebrating Artistic Expression” Artist or artist group are invited to submit a concept to exhibit in one of the available galleries. Your concept can include installation art, concept exhibit, photography, sculpture, themed exhibit or any combination of mediums. Accepted artist or artist group is responsible for the complete installation on the days listed below and all labels and/or printed materials pertinent to the concept of the exhibit. Two lucky artists will be granted a gallery in December to make thier dream a reality!
Entry Procedure
Artists can submit by emailing an exhibit proposal complete with sample pictures of your artwork and any diagrams or illustrations of what you would like to do with the space along with a written description of what you would like to do and info about you as an artist. Installation Dates: Tuesday, December 13th 1:00 pm – 6:00 pm and Wednesday, 12/14 11am-6pm.
Exhibit Dates: December 15, 2016 to January 13, 2017
Artist Opening Reception: Third Thursday December 15, 2015 6-9pm
Break Down/Art Pick up Dates: Saturday January 14th or Monday January 16, 2017 between the hours of 11AM-6PM.
Cost: Gallery fees sponsored
Commission: 25%
Entry Procedure

It is recommended you supply a short artist bio or statement with entry for our records.
Show Policies
1. All work must be original.
2. Art work must be framed and ready for hanging or display.
3. It is recommended that the artist attend the Third Thursday opening.
4. All sales will be reconciled within 10 days of the show closing. Artist should include legal name on submission if different from working name.
5. After-show closing, all work must be picked up on the day(s) indicated for pickup. CityArts Factory is not responsible for damage during storage to any work not picked up after posted pick up date. Any art not picked up within 14 days of the show closure will become the property of CityArts Factory.
6. CityArts Factory will make every effort to carefully handle and protect work, however, CityArts Factory cannot be held liable for damage to work or any personal injury sustained while participating at CityArts Factory.
7. Neither CityArts Factory nor the Downtown Arts District, Inc. is liable for theft of any work displayed within the premises. CAF and DAD will make every reasonable effort to maintain a secure premise for our artists.
8. Neither CityArts Factory nor the Downtown Arts District insures any art work displayed. Artists are welcome to provide their own insurance.
