Dog Friendly Hike at Little Big Econ State Forest

We are hiking again! This time we are headed to the beautiful Little Big Econ State Forest. These trails can be sandy in some areas, but for the most part it’s shaded and gorgeous! Most of the trail runs along a river, and if we’re lucky we might see an alligator.

Be sure to bring water for you and your furry friend. You might benefit from a hat on this trail, there are a few sunny areas. There is a $4 parking fee, so bring cash (it’s a drop box, so bring exact change). Ticks have been nasty this season so make sure your dog is on a preventative chew or wearing a tick collar.
