Etsy Festival

Join the Alafaya Library and several Central Florida-based Etsy.com shop owners as they show off their arts and crafts. Attendees can visit with local Etsy vendors, take part in how-to craft programs and learn how to open an Etsy shop.

1 pm: Custom Greeting Card Techniques – Join the owner of Thumbtacks and Paper for a session on making your own custom greeting cards at home.
1:30 pm: Learn to buy and sell handmade or vintage items on Etsy.com
2:35 pm: Marketing your Etsy store – The owner of Lucy Luxe Stationery Co. will share tips and techniques for marketing your shop.
3 pm: Silhouettes – History and How To – The owner of the Paper Portraits Sillhouette Shop will present a history of silhouettes and demonstrate how you can make your own.
3:30 pm: Mixed-Media Art Instruction – The owner of the Artwork by Juliana Davidson shop will offer suggestions and instruction for creating mixed-media art.
