Generations for Justice
July 9, 2020 @ 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm

At ELEVATE Orlando we provide students with a positive and caring adult who can ensure they don’t have to navigate life’s toughest challenges alone. For many of our students of color, prejudice and systemic racism is one of these toughest challenges. We intend for ELEVATE Orlando to be the space where students can share their experiences and feel valued. We will continue to empower our students to be the next generation of leaders to build a more just and equitable society.
We are honored to continue our Listening Forum, led by our students, where we discuss social change and engage in work that builds a more equal and just community.
Join us, Thursday, July 9th from 7 – 8pm
As we continue to focus on being an organization that is developing tomorrow’s leaders, we wanted to provide an opportunity for our students to be heard.
Sherry Paramore, President of ELEVATE Orlando and Jonathan Perry, Board Member of ELEVATE Orlando will facilitate the conversation along with Judge Bob LeBlanc (Circuit Judge, Orange County Criminal), Deputy Sheriff Terry, Jimmy Rodriguez (ELEVATE Teacher/Mentor), Stanley Toussaint (Oak Ridge High School Graduate), Sanai Toney (Jones High School), Decorey Purvis (Evans High School Graduate)
Hopefully, this dialogue will open hearts, build bridges, and ultimately, affect change. Please consider listening in and share this event with all your friends and family.
