Dr. Michael Greger is a physician, New York Times bestselling author, and internationally recognized speaker on nutrition, food safety, and public health issues. A founding member and Fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, Dr. Greger is licensed as a general practitioner specializing in clinical nutrition. He is a graduate of the Cornell University School of Agriculture and Tufts University School of Medicine. In 2017, Dr. Greger was honored with the ACLM Lifestyle Medicine Trailblazer Award and became a diplomat of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine.
Both his latest books, How Not to Die and the How Not to Die Cookbook, became instant New York Times Best Sellers. 100% of all proceeds he has ever received from his books, DVDs, and speaking engagements have always and will always be donated to charity.
Dr. Greger’s books will be available for sale at the event or you may bring your own for him to autograph.
Tickets are $30.00 online through Eventbrite (including fee) or $35.00 cash only at the door (if event not sold out). Price includes presentation and dinner.
-FREE parking in the Orlando Science Center parking garage
-The main event is on Level 2 at the Digital Adventure Theater
-Doors open at 6:00 p.m.
-Presentation starts promptly at 7:00 p.m.
-Dinner/reception is before and after the presentation from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. and from 8:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m. (attendees may eat during either time or both!) in the Kinetic Zone (right next to the Digital Adventure Theater)
Dinner is catered by Dandelion Communitea Cafe. Menu: taco bar (fillers: black beans with peppers & onions, cauliflower picadillo; bases: crunchy & soft tortilla shells, blue corn chips, spring mix; toppings: cilantro, sassy salsa, whirled pea guacamole, shredded cabbage, lime wedges, pickled jalapenos, vegan cheese, hot sauce, arroz verde); raw sunflower bites; iced herbal, green, and black tea.
Additional sweets (cupcakes, cookies, cake pops, and cookie shot glasses) for purchase are provided by Sunflour Bakery.
