Join us for a live taping of Intersection, 90.7 WMFE’s semiweekly news and in-depth conversation program, where we’ll hear from emerging local musicians about the state of the music scene in Central Florida, as well as what shapes and inspires their music. Guests include Beemo, an acoustic Americana band with mountain music roots, and Billy Wright, a singer-songwriter with “Maroon 5 meets Lenny Kravitz” pop melodic smooth sound.

Hang out after the taping of the Intersection Live show for more live music, as well as a poetry throwdown to kick-off our Young Friends of WMFE group. We’ll read our favorite ZIP code poetry (ZipOdes) and invite you to take the stage to represent your neighborhood with your own ZipOdes! Haven’t submitted a ZipOde yet?
