It All Started at the Radisson Inn
October 5, 2019 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm$10
You are cordially invited to leave your inhibitions behind and peek in on the mini-rave going on in the corner executive suite on the fifth floor of the Downtown Radisson Inn somewhere in Florida. Reserve your ticket today to experience playwright Michael Wanzie’s latest work, IT ALL STARTED AT THE RADISSON INN – A New Sexual Comedy being presented as an official selection of the inaugural Be Original Theater Festival at the Dr. Phillips Center For The Performing Arts running October 4 – 6, 2019.
IT ALL STARTED AT THE RADISSON INN – Is a tale of a chance meeting between Brett – Played by JAKE RURA – a handsome, young heterosexual guy and Connor – played by MIKE VAN DYKE – a charming and persuasive gay man who bond at a rolling party while high on ecstasy. The unlikely pair become frequent role-play partners with foot fetishism and a milquetoast version of a Master/Slave scenario central to their encounters which Brett strives to keep secret from his fiancé, Julie – played by Marina Magnelli. Eventually, worlds collide and the fallout is not pretty.
Wanzie directs the requisitely “edgy” play being presented only twice during the three-day festival. IT ALL STARTED AT THE RADISSON INN will play the Jim & Alexis Pugh Theater at Dr. Phills only on Saturday, October 5 at 5 pm and on Sunday, October 6 at 7 pm. Tickets are only $12 and you may secure yours right now by pointing your browser to:
