Joseph Kingma, winner of the American Liszt Society’s 2017 Liszt International Piano Competition, enjoys an active national and international career as a soloist, chamber musician, and teacher. Eager to share the beauty of music with a wide audience, he maintains a busy and varied performance schedule in multiple genres. As a recitalist, his solo invitations include the Dame Myra Hess Concert Series in Chicago, the American Liszt Society in New York City, the Dorothy MacKenzie Price Piano Series in Toledo, the Music Institute of Chicago, the Timucua Arts Foundation in Orlando, the Good Shepherd International Concert Series in Minneapolis, L’Oasis Musicale in Montreal, and many others. He also has performed with many orchestras nationally, including the Monroe Symphony, Manassas Symphony, Palm Beach Atlantic Symphony, Spring Hill Orchestra, and Brazos Chamber Orchestra, and retains a wide-ranging concerto repertoire. An avid chamber musician, he has been a guest artist for the Palm Beach Chamber Music Festival. Additionally, his performances have been featured on Chicago’s classical music radio station, 98.7 WFMT.
