K-6 Spring Break Camps
March 18, 2016 @ 9:00 am - March 25, 2016 @ 4:00 pm
On Friday, March 18th, and Monday, March 21st through 25th, give your kids a productive and fun way to spend their time off at the Orlando Science Center! Our school break program offers kids the chance to learn more about science and technology in an exciting, interactive environment. Whether they’re learning how cooking is science, or simply learning how a snake crawls, our camps and classes are designed to entertain and inform.
Friday, March 18
LEGO-ology (Grades K-2)
Ready, set, build! Let your imagination run wild while creating cars, buildings and more out of LEGO’s. Explore basic principles of engineering as you work together to plan a working city.
Our World of Minecraft (Grades 3-6)
What if the whole world was made of blocks? Explore the physics of Minecraft and the real world as we build and experiment in both realms to see where our worlds overlap.
Monday-Friday, March 21-25
Pint-Size Programmers (Grades K-2)
Before you ever invent a robot to clean your room, you’ll need to know the basics of programming. Learn about coding, the language of computers, to make animations and music then build a working car that moves on your command.
Young Makers (Grades 3-6)
Where would science be without imagination? Use your creativity to join the movement of inventive, Do-It-Yourself people and design your own amazing creations. Learn to solder, craft your own fashion and design a Maker masterpiece!
1-day break camps cost $55 for members, or $65 for non-members of Orlando Science Center. Sign up for multiple days to receive a camp discount!
*Camps begin at 9:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM. Early and late care are included in the cost of tuition. Campers may be dropped off as early as 7:30 AM and pick up runs until 6:00 PM. Additional fees apply after 6:00 PM.
