K–8 Homeschool Program

This February, discover your scientific side with some of our hands-on homeschool programs for grades K–8.

Kindergarten: Kitchen Chemistry: Students will learn about chemical reactions through cooking experiments!
Grades 1–2 Spaced Out
Grades 3–5 Space Tech
Grades6–8 Destination STEM: Wind Power


Grades K–5

Accompanying adult required for grades K–5.

Grades 6–8
$15.00 Grade 6–8 student only – Non-member

In each course, you will receive in-depth lab/classroom experience to add to your science learning. There will be a film for each program shown in our Dr. Phillips CineDome giant screen theater. Supplemental Pre/Post Activities will be available online at http://www.osc.org/educators. Students will be grouped by age according to enrollment. This program is designed for students and their parents. Together you will participate in the Discovery Lab, exhibits, and movie. K-5 includes a 60 minute lab experience, and 6-8 includes a 90 minute lab experience.

Check-in begins at 9:30 a.m. The program runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
