The Life Explorers Speaker Series will feature programs for adults interested in expanding and sharing their knowledge on a variety of environmental and cultural topics. The Life Explorers series will tap the resources of experts from the Central Florida community to serve as speakers for the programs which are offered free of charge.

Local historian Rick Baldwin, a longtime business and community service leader in Central Florida, will kick off the inaugural series with a flash back travelog through Winter Park’s early history. Discover some new tidbits of information about Winter Park’s founding and the historical, cultural and political influences that shaped the community. Rick’s presentation will highlight Winter Park’s founding with anecdotes and historical asides to embellish our knowledge of the city.
