Making History: Sweet Blooms
July 15, 2017 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

When Queen Victoria married Prince Albert in 1840, the cake weighed 300 pounds, measured 3 yards in circumference, and was festooned with every kind of sugar flower imaginable. From this, a tradition was born! The Victorian era is known for its love of arts and crafts, and creating flowers made of sugar quickly became a favorite pastime. Please join us for a unique experience and craft your own sugar confection!
