Movie Trash presents Showgirls

Some movies are considered instant classics, but as the age you realize what garbage they are… Forrest Gump, Avatar, 2004’s Crash. Movies like that.

But some are so universally hated upon their release that there is nowhere to go but up. Showgirls fits that perfectly. Imagine a bad remake of All About Eve, made for Lifetime, with a TON of nudity and you’d be close to the ridiculous awesomeness that is Showgirls.

Nomi just wants to make her mark as a dancer… but life isn’t that easy. Corruption, sleaze, drugs, (unintentionally hilarious) pool sex, and Kyle MacLachlan in an emo haircut all permeate throughout this flick.

If you have never seen this movie with a crowd, you will love it. It is the only way to watch this movie.
