Every Sunday in April, something to help you get through this Quarantime, a Southern Fried Sunday curated free streaming music festival supporting musicians, the staff of SFS’s home venue Will’s Pub, & a charity assisting in COVID-19 relief, all paired with delivery of a local focused dinner from The New Standard! Each week we’ll feature “residents in residence” musicians Thomas & Hannah Wynn, of THOMAS WYNN & THE BELIEVERS & Hannah Harber & The Lionhearts and Kaleigh Baker & Matt Walker of Someday Honey, along with (for 4/12): Laney Jones & Brian Dowd streaming from Nashville, Kristopher James from Tampa, Cat Ridgeway from Orlando’s Cat Ridgeway & the Tourists, Tim Turner & Matt Tuten aka The Mournin’ Biscuits, Wes Morrison of Wes Morrison & The Stray Hares from Orlando, the KitchenKillaz duo who in non-distanced time internet crash kitchens around the country, AND Patrick Hagerman, and Leisure Chief both streaming LIVE from The New Standard‘s stage! Plus pre-recorded videos from Brian Chodorcoff & Brittany Schweizer’s Orlando home studio, and Davey Schweizer’s home, a new video from founding member of Mofro, Daryl Hance‘s home in North Florida, and Orlando music footage from Dave Segal at BOOTLEG TELEVISION!

Invite friends & family to to view the streams on Facebook Live at the Southern Fried Sunday FB page & the individual performers’ FB music pages! In addition to hosting 2 live sets, The New Standard, will also provide a Southern Fried Sunday Fried Chicken Wings! Community assistance will come in several forms during Southern Fried Sunday’s #StayHome Fest. First, to help the musicians, the acts performing will be accepting virtual tips through their preferred cash app. To assist the staff of SFS’s home venue Will’s Pub, who were forced to close due to the pandemic, viewers will be encouraged to order Will’s Pub merchandise through their Squarespace at https://willsmerch.square.site/ In honor of Easter, to assist members of their community have food on their table to share a meal, SFS is asking viewers – who are able to donate – to give to The Feed The Need Florida program, which focuses on providing donated meals to Orange & Seminole County families in need during the COVID-19 pandemic.
