Orlando Balloon Glow 2019

The 2019 Orlando Balloon Glow features hot air balloons glowing at dusk (weather permitting), tethered rides (weather permitting), the best local food vendors, retail vendors, activities for the kids and more!

Every guest must have an admission ticket in order for the event to limit capacity for comfort and enjoyment. The event will be fenced off this year with two entrances, one at the east end of the park and the west entrance in the parking lot for guests travelling by the free shuttle.

Tethered rides can booked in advance from just $20 per person.

Check out our new private tethered balloon rides for couples, where you will have your very own hot air balloon for a few minutes of alone time with your sweetie while taking in the event from above.

Our VIP tickets give you access to a special VIP seating area including climate controlled bathrooms. On arrival you will receive a champagne toast plus seating with a great view of the main glow which takes place at 8pm. Weather permitting, VIP guests will be given a free tethered ride in one of our modern hot air balloons with ADA access.

Terms and Conditions

*Event is rain or shine.

*All guests experiencing balloon rides must first sign in at our waiver desk to sign our insurance waiver. Here you will be given a token to hand to your balloon pilot when you ride. Without a token, you will be unable to ride.

*Actual event will operate rain or shine, but please be aware that this does not mean that balloons will definitely inflate. Balloons can only inflate in suitable weather conditions. Event definition is gates open, vendors open, non balloon related activities operate etc.

*All pre-booked guests must check in by 7pm each evening.

*Balloon activity is subject to suitable weather conditions. Should balloon activity be postponed, tickets will be valid at future Midflo events and / or rain out dates to be held if and as required.

*We only sell enough advance tickets to account for around one hour of operation. If we lose a day or two to weather, this allows us to guarantee all pre-purchased tickets can be processed on other days of the festival.

*Tickets purchased through Eventbrite are strictly non refundable.

*VIP tickets are not balloon ride tickets. All of our VIP guests are given a free balloon ride ticket as part of their package ONLY IF WEATHER PERMITS that balloon rides can take place. When you purchase a VIP ticket, you are purchasing a ticket to access an exclusive area with air conditioned bathrooms and a champagne toast on arrival. Seating for VIP guests is also included.

*Tethered rides will begin as close to 5pm as the weather conditions permit and will operate until 9pm or until weather conditions dictate.

*We advise guests to arrive in good time and to please be patient. We do not start processing ride tickets until balloon inflation begins.

*Sometimes balloon activity can be delayed or curtailed by the weather – please keep an eye on our Facebook page for updates on weather conditions and event information.

*The main balloon glow consists of around ten to fifteen balloons and will begin around 8pm subject to suitable weather conditions. The main glow will last around one hour.

*There is no car parking available at Blue Jacket Park during the event. Please park at Fashion Square Mall and ride the free shuttle. You will need to have a pre-purchased ticket to ride the shuttle.

*Picnic blankets and camping chairs are permitted but no coolers please.

*The Orlando Balloon Glow is a smoke free environment – please consider others and exit the park if you need to smoke. Thanks for your kindness!
