Orlando Rain Barrel Workshop

Come and join us to learn about rain harvesting and receive a free rain barrel as a wonderful addition to your lawns and gardens that can be used for ornamental and landscaping plants or pollinator gardens! In this workshop, presented by the University of Florida’s IFAS Extension Office, you will learn:

• How rain harvesting is an inexpensive means of capturing and storing water

• How it can help to reduce pollution from stormwater runoff

• How it can help you save money on utility bills in the process

The City of Orlando has partnered with Barrels by the Bay, a non-profit organization committed to educating individuals about conservation and sustainability, Coca-Cola, and Walt Disney World for an annual rain barrel program
