ORLANDO, Florida. March 16, 2016 — The first Semi-Annual Panelist led conversation devoted to brainstorming, and developing strategies to unite the Orlando arts and cultural communities into a coherent landscape capable of rivaling other mid-sized artistic regions.
Free Event on March 16, 2016 at 2:30 pm. Sponsored by the Henao Contemporary Center and hosted at the University of Central Florida’s School of Visual Arts Gallery, in room 132. The Orlando Symposium will feature guest panelists: Josh Garrick, Terry Olson, Jennifer Coolidge, Patrick Greene, Barbara Hartley, and Benoit Glazer.
These cultural leaders from Central Florida will be involved in spearheading a dialogue on the Orlando Arts. Moderated by Orlando Artist; Richard Munster, the Symposium will be an hour-long conversation between the panelists followed by a Q&A open to the audience. Food and drinks will be provided after discussion, with the opportunity to meet and network with panelists. The Orland Symposium is set to end in time for the opening reception of University of Central Florida’s SVAD M.F.A Thesis exhibition.
