“It is said that only children and animals are truly innocent beings. How quickly society and its influences take hold of that innocence. The rapidly evolving change can be witnessed as clearly as a seed spouting and growing over a short time. Animals are turned into pets, adorned with clothing, accessories and an abundance of toys, none of which is the natural design. Children become distracted and the need to occupy their attention only grows more intense as they age.

Toys turn to games and games turn to apps which lead to behavior that fills a subconscious need for validation. The struggle to resist the pulls of the world is a difficult one and choices become less and less accounted for in this uniquely divided culture. As the child grows hard lessons are learned. Perspective adapts to each phase of life.

The child becomes a parent and the parent becomes a grandparent who will now bear witness to the inquisitive journey of a new life. This new lineage is a renewed extension of themselves.

Now unburden by the rat race of deadlines, carlines and societal standards the person in their old age may experience the world all over again through the eyes of their kin in complete wonder of the ever fleeting innocence.”
