Professional Dancer Auditions

Emotions Dance is looking for talented individuals ages 18+ to be a part of our professional contemporary dance company. Dancers must be technically trained and willing to take artistic risks. Dancers should be prepared for ballet barre, progressions across the floor with turns and jumps, a contemporary dance combination, and should prepare a solo (under 2 minutes) to show the Artistic Director at the end of class. Pointe work is advantageous but not required. Dancers should also come prepared with a professional resume and headshot. Pay and other benefits available.

Currently there are 3 male positions, 3 female positions, and apprentice positions available. Auditions will take place at Emotions Dance Studio (105 Melody Lane West in Casselberry, FL 32707).

Dancers must be prepared to commit to company class on Tuesday nights and for all scheduled rehearsals which are held on Thursday evenings and Sunday mornings. If you are under age 18 but still interested in performing, check out EDC II, our youth performance company for ages 12-18.
