Reverie & Reflection

The Flowers Chemical Laboratories OCCO Concert Series continues with a performance featuring four pieces–three of which of world premieres written specifically for OCCO, and our new vocal group, VoxOCCO. “REVERIE & REFLECTION” contemplates the human condition and how it shapes who we are, addressing the dualities of self-reflection and external observation, hope and apprehension, and even life and death, while exploring themes of redemption, resurrection, and catharsis.

The Orlando Contemporary Chamber Orchestra (OCCO) is a group of professional musicians and arts business professionals who share a passion for orchestral music and a desire to add to Central Florida’s vibrant, growing, arts and entertainment scene. OCCO’s mission is to advance contemporary orchestral music through the performance of works composed and transcribed by contemporary composers.
