Spring Girl Scout Adventures!

Girl Scouts and Orlando Science Center have teamed up to provide young girls with some awesome opportunities to learn and experience science in a cool, interactive, and fun environment – while also earning merit badges along the way!

Scout Day Programs

Scout Days are hands-on, discovery-based programs designed to assist Girl Scouts in fulfilling recognition requirements. We create each program to provide an opportunity for Brownies and Juniors to earn badges. Please refer to your Girls Guide to Girl Scouting for information regarding Girl Scout recognitions. Note: Badges are not provided.

All Scout Days include:
• A hands-on workshop to help Junior and Brownie Girl Scouts earn Activity Badges
• A giant-screen film, live show, or an exhibit (schedule permitting)

Animals:
• February 13th, 2016
• March 12th, 2016
• April 9th, 2016

Culinary Chemistry:
• January 23rd, 2016
• March 26th, 2016

Overnights – Experience the Ultimate Adventure!

Are you a Scout Leader with an incredibly busy schedule? Let the Orlando Science Center help your Girl Scouts fulfill recognition requirements for Badges. All you have to do is organize the trip! Overnights are available for Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes. Each program includes a hands-on, discovery-based workshop and admission to the Orlando Science Center the following day.

Each overnight includes:
• Workshops on theme related topics
• Crosby Observatory access (weather permitting)
• Exhibit exploration
• An Overnight Participation Patch
• Dinner & Breakfast
• A COOL place to sleep!

Troops: Book Together and Save!

• 1 FREE adult chaperone for every 10 paid scouts
• A $50 non-refundable deposit is due at time of registration; balance is due 2 weeks prior to scheduled event
