The Camellia: Queen of the Winter Garden

Saturday, January 9, 2021

10:00 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

Instructor: Robert Bowden

Leu Gardens has the largest collection of camellias on the East Coast. What better way to see all these beautiful camellias in bloom than to join the Gardens’ Director, Robert Bowden, first in the classroom and then on a walking tour of the signature collection of Leu Gardens. Selection, planting, fertilization, pruning and general culture will be discussed.

Robert Bowden is the Director of Leu Gardens and author of Guide to Florida Top Ten Gardens by Sunset Books and Florida Fruit and Vegetable Gardening: Plant, Grow, and Harvest the Best Edibles by Cool Springs Press.

Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available to FNGLA Certified Professionals upon request.

Participants must withdraw from classes at least five days prior to the start of class in order to receive a full refund or credit. If we must cancel a class, we will make every effort to inform you prior to the class time, and you will receive a full refund or credit.

Only those registered for the class will be permitted in the classroom. Childcare services are not provided.
