The Thing in the Labyrinth – a horror book club with Kathryn E. McGee
July 26, 2020 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
This horror book club meets after hours in the center of our labyrinth, warmed only by the flickering flames of a haunted chandelier we found in Uncle Vincent’s attic.
Bad things happen almost never.
WE’VE GONE DIGITAL.
Book clubs are still a thing around here, and just in time for the pandemic lockdown. You’re stuck at home, but you’re not alone. Get your ticket here, email us your address, we’ll mail you your book, and then we’ll ZOOM together and talk about it. All our fantastic moderators are still on board. (Specific instructions follow after you’ve got your ticket.)
The Good House, Tananarive Due’s latest, fills a haunted house story with themes of racial and inter-generational suffering.
HOW IT WORKS:
All book clubs require a ticket, and include the book and a dedicated moderator – to keep the discussion on track! All clubs meet at The Last Bookstore.
You can get your ticket thru the link on this page (*we’ll ship the book to you!).
*If you choose the on-line option (the one with shipping), please send a mailing addy to [email protected] — Do not try to pick up the book in person.
And hey – if you’re worried about being downtown at the witching hours of the night – please know that the club all leaves together. If you’d like an escort to where you parked after the meeting, it’s no problem at all – just let us know.
